Members can rent security lights on a monthly basis from Grayson-Collin Electric Cooperative (GCEC) with a one-year contract. A contract, stating the member will pay the monthly rental for at least 1 year, must be executed prior to the Cooperative installing the security light.
This one-year rental agreement is applicable for security lights installed on an existing GCEC utility pole. There may be a charge for setting new poles needed for the installation and a member will be required to sign a 2-year agreement.
If a tenant requests a security light on a rental property, the security light rental agreement must be co-signed by the property owner(s).
Security light fees are set by the GCEC Board of Directors and is subject to change. Current rates are available by contacting GCEC.
